1. Cream sugar and butter until softened, light and fluffy.
2. Whisk in eggs one at a time mixing until everything is well incorporated.
3. Sift flour cocoa powder, salt and baking powder into a bowl. Add the wet ingredients and mix until well combined.
4. Pour batter into a greased baking tin and put in a pre heated oven at 180°c and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer/toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
